Bible Class

Starting later this year, Pastor will lead a weekly Bible Class after church. Initially classes will be especially for those new to the faith, anyone with questions and Christians wanting to learn more. Bible Class will provide you with an opportunity to better understand God’s grace, and the joyful life He wants for you.

We break for school holidays.

WQL Training

Short courses in leadership training, small group training, pastoral care, worship leader, spiritual resilience, graciousness, toolkit for ministry, connection, NT Greek, Bible, Psalms, etc, will be offered.

Discover

Australian Lutheran College (ALC), offers many online & regionally based training courses including Discover. 

Discover is a flexible program of study that combines formal learning with real life experience in your local church & community. It can be completed in one-year (full time), or over three years, (part time) and culminates in a Diploma in Theology. Discover also counts as the first year of pastoral studies.

Western Muster

Held on the first weekend after Easter, the ‘Muster’ is an opportunity to receive exceptional Christ centred, Bible teaching, and to share across denominational lines. The Western Muster is a truly ecumenical event for all the people of God.  Dr Noel Due, Lutheran pastor, and highly regarded author and theological educator with extensive experience in Australia, UK, India and elsewhere, has been our presenter these past three years, and we look forward to having him again in the future.

Hear the Gospel preached in a remarkable house of worship that attests to the glory of God.  Trinity was established when the farming community was strong, and now finds itself charting a new course.

Intergenerational worship & the establishment of vibrant Home Groups are exciting developments within the congregation. Experience the close-knit family environment of our Sunday School.

Downfall Creek

St John’s

St John’s Downfall Creek, has been a centre of Christian faith and life in the area for over 100 years. They operated a Christian school for twenty-two years (1940 – 62).

This faith community is a warm-hearted bunch, who love to share their hospitality with the district. They enjoy many a pot luck dinner and host ‘Easter Dawn Service & Breakfast’, ‘Christmas Eve’ & ‘Advent Tea’’ and ‘Games Nights’ for the community.

Home Groups are an important part of life in the Downfall. Discussion and exploration of the faith are encouraged.

Religious Education at the nearby Guluguba Primary School is provided by St John’s.

Redeemer

Redeemer Miles, is a dedicated group who know the love of Christ and are keen to share it. They meet regularly in various homes throughout the district for intergenerational worship and home groups.  

Religious Education at nearby Drillham State Primary School is provided by Redeemer.

Charleville

The Charleville faith community meet for worship once a month, then go out for a fellowship meal together. A Home Group is planned to begin soon.

They host the annual ‘Western Muster’, an ecumenical Bible teaching gathering, held on the first weekend after Easter.
